Animals love energy work!

I love working with animals and their guardians. Animals are so smart, and when they know someone is helping them, they dive right into the sessions!

I find that animals have a strong sense of self awareness, connection to their family unit and a feeling of responsibility to their guardians and communal living spaces. They like to know what’s going on and have a say in it.

It’s helpful to remember that animals have different personalities and complex relationships and sensitivities with those around them. In working with them and living with them, it is just like getting to know new roommates, office mates and dates - everyone needs time, consideration and space to shift into new dynamics.

All Animal Energy Work sessions are done distantly - this way the animal can rest in their comfort space with their humans. A quick conversation with any relevant information the guardian wants me to know, consent is secured from the animal, and then the work is done distantly working from a current photo (same day photos are ideal). Animals respond best to the softer energy symbols of Usui Reiki and Angelic Liquid Light.

The session is followed up with any information the animal has relayed that would help support them and their guardians. I have found animals are very specific in their sessions with pertinent information that needs to be relayed. They are so lovingly connected with you, their guardians; the clearer the communications the better you can advocate for their needs and wishes. I do not diagnose health issues, only feedback from the animal. Any health concerns should be followed up with veterinarian recommended care.

30 minutes of reiki is plenty of time for animal sessions. Once consent is given they receive energy work very quickly and deeply. Animals are highly intuitive and are very aware “how much“ energy they need to receive and from whom, so longer is not usually better. If a longer duration of care would be beneficial to the animal, shorter sessions spread out are usually the way to go.
